At 74, Fatima learned to video-call her grandchildren overseas. "I did not think I could learn this," she said. "Now I do it every Sunday."
Marcus joined SAWA youth program at 15. Today at 22, he runs monthly workshops for teens in the same neighborhood where he grew up.
Behind every statistic is a human story. A mother who found safe housing for her children in their first week in Canada. A father who landed his first Canadian job after attending our employment workshop. A teenager who discovered her leadership potential at our youth camp and went on to mentor others.
At SAWA Foundation, we measure success not just in numbers, but in the lasting transformations we witness every day. These are not just statistics — they are lives changed, families stabilized, and futures unlocked.
Thank you to every donor, volunteer, partner, and staff member who makes this work possible. Together, we are building a more welcoming Canada.
